Amman A. Khan has served as lead counsel in numerous bench trials, jury trials, arbitrations, appeals, extraordinary writ proceedings, and negotiated settlements. In defense cases and judgment-defense matters, Mr. Khan has successfully defended clients from hundreds of millions of dollars in damage claims. In plaintiff cases and judgment-collection matters, Mr. Khan has achieved close to $100 million dollars in judgments and settlements on behalf of his clients, including high-value net recoveries in matters in which the client's adversary filed for bankruptcy, insolvency, or dissolution.

Mr. Khan regularly works with financial institutions, trustees, movie studios, television networks, high net-worth entrepreneurs and multinational families. He strives for synergy between his clients' business goals and litigation strategy. He also ensures that litigation does not distract his clients from their ability to grow and manage their business.

Mr. Khan received his Master of Laws from the UCLA School of Law, where he finished at the top of his graduating class in 1994. In 1993, he received his Bachelor of Laws, cum laude, from the University of Ottawa, Common Law Section, where he finished at the top 10% of his graduating class. He also participated in constitutional law, criminal law and international law moot court competitions and was a National moot court Champion in 1992.  He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics—With Distinction—from McGill University. 

In 1994 and 1995, Mr. Khan was a visiting assistant professor of law at the University of Ottawa, Common Law Section, where he taught torts and constitutional law. Mr. Khan has been selected for inclusion in Super Lawyers for several years as well as listed in the National Registry of Who's Who. He is admitted to the State Bar of California as well as the Law Society of Upper Canada (Ontario), and is resident in our Los Angeles office.
