Mr. Keane represents clients in complex restructurings and financially distressed situations, including debtors, secured lenders, creditors’ committees, trustees, asset purchasers, and other significant creditors and parties in interest. He is regularly involved in many of the largest and most complex bankruptcy cases all around the country. His practice focuses on business reorganizations and liquidations, debtor and creditors’ rights, and other insolvency-related matters. Mr. Keane represents clients in a wide variety of industries, including retail, consumer and home goods, food and beverage, aviation, energy, technology, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, and manufacturing.

In 2021 and 2022, Mr. Keane was named as a Delaware Rising Star by Thomson Reuters' "Super Lawyers." Mr. Keane was selected in 2019 by M&A Advisor for its 10th Annual Emerging Leaders award and was part of the 2017 National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges Next Generation Program. From 2020 to 2022, Mr. Keane was the cochair of the American Bankruptcy Institute Bankruptcy Litigation Committee, and previously served as the education director and the newsletter editor. From 2017 to 2018, Mr. Keane served as a cochair of the Bankruptcy Law Committee for the American Bar Association Young Lawyers Division.

Before joining the firm, Mr. Keane served as a law clerk for two years for the Honorable J. Michael Deasy of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Hampshire. Mr. Keane received his J.D. from the University of New Hampshire Law School and B.A. from the University of Delaware. Mr. Keane is licensed to practice law in Delaware, Pennsylvania, and New Hampshire. He is resident in our Delaware office.
