This site has been created to provide unsecured creditors with information about the pending chapter 11 bankruptcy cases of Signal International 

NOTICE: The Bankruptcy Court has established September 22, 2015, at 4:00 p.m. (prevailing Eastern time) as the general claims bar date for filing proofs of claim in these chapter 11 cases for all persons and entities other than governmental units.

On July 12, 2015, Signal International Inc., Signal Ship Repair LLC, Signal International LLC, Signal International Texas GP LLC and Signal International Texas LP commenced chapter 11 cases in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware in Wilmington, Delaware ("Bankruptcy Court"). Judge Mary F. Walrath is the presiding judge. The cases were consolidated for administrative purposes as case number 15-11498 on July 14, 2015  (hereinafter the consolidated debtors will be referred to collectively as "Signal International").

Committee Appointment

On July 22, 2015, the U.S. Trustee appointed the following members to the official committee of unsecured creditors ("Committee"): Max Specialty Insurance Company, Hemant Khuttan, Jamestown Metal Marine Sales, Marmac LLC, Canal Barge Company, Canal Barge Company, Aby Karickathara Raju and Iju James. The Committee has selected Pachulski Stang Ziehl & Jones LLP ("PSZJ") as counsel; Bankruptcy Court approval of the employment is pending. Robert Feinstein and Bradford Sandler are the principal attorneys at PSZJ responsible for this engagement.
