This site has been created to provide unsecured creditors with information and to solicit and receive comments from unsecured creditors about the pending chapter 11 bankruptcy cases of International Shipholding Corporation et al. (the "International Shipholding Cases")

On August 1, 2016, International Shipholding Corporation filed a chapter 11 petition in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York ("Bankruptcy Court") along with associated debtors Enterprise Ship, Sulphur Carriers, Central Gulf Lines, Coastal Carriers, Waterman Steamship, N.W. Johnsen & Co., LMS Shipmanagement, U.S. United Ocean Services, Mary Ann Hudson LLC, Sheila Mc Devitt LLC, Tower LLC, Frascati Shops, Gulf South Shipping, LCI Shipholdings, Dry Bulk Australia, Dry Bulk Americas and Marco Shipping Company. Judge Stuart M. Bernstein is the presiding judge. On August 4, the Bankruptcy Court ordered the cases to be administratively consolidated under case number 16-12220.

Committee Appointment

On September 1, 2016, the U.S. Trustee appointed members to a committee of unsecured creditors ("Committee"), and on September 22, the appointment was amended. Current Committee members are: Administrators for the Estate of Robert N. Cain; Marine Engineers Beneficial Association; Masters, Mates and Pilot Benefit Plans; Seafarers International Union and U.S. Ocean LLC. The Committee has selected Pachulski Stang Ziehl & Jones ("PSZJ") as its counsel; Bankruptcy Court approval is pending. Robert Feinstein, Bradford Sandler and Steven Golden are the principal attorneys at PSZJ handing the representation.
