New Edition of First-Day Motions Guide

Debra Grassgreen and Max Litvak have written the second edition of First Day Motions: A Practical Guide to the Critical First Days of a Bankruptcy Case. The new edition incorporates changes made to the Bankruptcy Code by the Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention & Consumer Protection Act of 2005 (BAPCPA) and is published by the American Bankruptcy Institute. The guide addresses the basics of first-day motions and provides an overview of administrative, operational, and substantive motions/orders and the appeal of a first-day motion. Sample motions are included.
