Debra Grassgreen will moderate a panel discussion of  "first-day" orders in chapter 11 practice. First-day orders are sought early in a chapter 11 case to facilitate the progress of a case; much of the immediate relief sought in the orders is administrative, but often first-day orders can involve substantive matters that affect the rights of others.
