The presentation discussed the impact of the pandemic on retailers and retail practices; rights of the supplier when attempting to collect existing accounts receivable; creditor practices for addressing the bankrupt retailer, including effects of the pandemic on the court and creditor issues such as extending terms and the ordinary course defense; and refining the terms and conditions section of sales contracts, agreements, and credit applications to minimize ongoing credit risk.
