Leading national legal publication Law360 recently released a report listing the law firms most hired to handle major bankruptcy cases in the first half of 2015, and the firm is proud to announce it is included among them.

Pachulski Stang Ziehl & Jones was noted as being one of the midsized firms with operations in Delaware that took advantage of the traditionally high number of bankruptcies in the state. In addition, the firm was also singled out for being one of the most successful entrants in the ranking over the long term, having operated in Delaware for 15 years.

“There’s nothing like experience to be helpful to a client,” said PSZJ Wilmington managing partner Laura Davis Jones. “Being in front of [the Delaware bankruptcy court] so often, we’re able to advise the client on the precedent that this court has, and therefore what we expect to happen.”

PSZJ has represented many high-profile creditors’ committees over the past six months, including the unsecured creditors committee in teen retailer The Wet Seal Inc’s chapter 11 proceeding, and debtors such as the companies behind the $3.5 billion Baha Mar resort and casino project in the Bahamas. PSZJ is the largest law firm in the country devoted primarily to corporate restructurings.
