The firm has successfully defended the former financial manager of Bill Cosby's enterprises in a week-long trial over appointment of a trustee to wrest away control of her bankruptcy estate; at issue were concerns basic to an individual's ability to pursue a chapter 11 case.

The firm obtained the appointment of a chapter 11 trustee over Norman Maurer Productions and related entities claiming ownership of the rights to the Three Stooges. This was a critical step that led to a settlement determining that the rights to the Three Stooges belonged to our clients.
