Accountability & Protection: Child Sexual Abuse Claims in Chapter 11

James Stang, Iain Nasatir, Ilan Scharf, and Brittany Michael were featured panelists for a special fundraising event hosted by PSZJ and Child USA, which took place on October 27th, 2023, at Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles, CA. Abuse survivors and lawyers with experience in cases concerning Catholic entities, the Boy Scouts of America, and U.S. Gymnastics discussed topics including insurance, First Amendment defense, and plaintiffs’ counsel perspectives on bankruptcy strategies.
