
Paul Labov is a partner in the firm’s New York office. Paul’s practice focuses on representing clients in chapter 11 bankruptcy cases and out-of-court workouts. His clients include official creditors’ committees, ad hoc creditor groups, trade vendors, landlords, and trustees. Paul also represents private equity firms in the purchase and sale of distressed debt and assets. Paul’s cases are national in scope and include a number of industries, such as retail, energy, manufacturing, and healthcare. Paul’s clients value his commercial approach and ability to think creatively to solve complex problems. Paul’s recent engagements, among others, include representing the creditors’ committees in Conn’s, Red Lobster, Bed Bath & Beyond, Cineworld, Party City, FedNat, Cyxtera, and Careismatic Brands. He has authored numerous articles and other publications on a wide range of bankruptcy topics. Paul holds a bachelor’s degree from George Washington University (1999) and a JD from Seton Hall School of Law (2002).
