Big Apple Circus

Representation as pro bono counsel to the creditors’ committee appointed in the chapter 11 case of Big Apple Circus in the Southern District of New York. The company, a nonprofit performing circus and school for the instruction and artistic development of circus arts, commenced the case in November 2016. It was sold as a going concern and continues to provide the community with its iconic circus and the charitable missions.
