Representation of Carbon Health Technologies Inc. (CHTI) and its debtor affiliates in their chapter 11 cases in the Southern District of Texas. CHTI provides a fully integrated primary and urgent care system to over 800,000 patients each year through more than 90 clinics across California, Texas, and six other states, using proprietary technology to operate clinics more efficiently. The firm assisted the debtors in successfully navigating through the chapter 11 process, culminating with the confirmation of an uncontested reorganization plan that includes a global settlement with the creditors’ committee and certain lenders. The plan allows for an internal reorganization to preserve and continue the debtors’ business in providing healthcare services. A trust will be created for the benefit of commercial unsecured creditors and sexual-abuse tort claimants, with the plan sponsor contributing $12 million and other assets.
