Frontier Communications Corporation

Representation of certain bondholders in the chapter 11 cases of Frontier Communications. The debtors are one of the largest telecommunications providers in the nation, offering an expansive fiber optic network, cloud-based services, internet/digital television services, and computer technical support. The debtors confirmed a plan that implemented a restructuring support agreement with certain bondholders (comprising $11 billion in total indebtedness), resulting in the bondholders receipt of substantially all of the equity in the reorganized company, payment in full of general unsecured creditors, and the deleveraging of the company by more than $10 billion. Postconfirmation, Frontier Communications went public again in 2021 and is currently traded on the NASDAQ.
