Representation of the creditors’ committee in this San Jose-based bankruptcy case in which hostile litigation activities by a creditor forced the debtor to file a bankruptcy in order to provide the breathing room necessary to pursue an appeal of an adverse trial court ruling. With the firm’s assistance, the debtor and the committee confirmed a joint plan which paid every creditor in the case in full with interest, except for the hostile creditor, whose claim was separately classified and treated in order to allow payment of the greater creditor body to take place.
