Kushner-Locke Company

Representation of the creditors’ committee in the chapter 11 case of Los Angeles-based independent movie production and distribution company Kushner-Locke in the Central District of California. Pursuant to a confirmed plan of reorganization, management and operation of the debtor’s motion picture distribution rights was assumed by the company’s secured creditor, and a fixed percentage distribution was carved out for general unsecured creditors under circumstances in which the secured lender recovered less than 100 cents on the dollar.
