Lucky Brand Dungarees

Representation of the creditors’ committee in the chapter 11 case of well-known clothing retailer Lucky Brand Dungarees in the District of Delaware. The firm negotiated with the SPARC Group, which operates brands including Aéropostale and Nautica, for the sale of “substantially all” of Lucky Brand’s operating assets. ABG-Lucky, a newly formed unit of brand manager Authentic Brands Group, acquired Lucky Brand’s intellectual property. This sale, which avoided an outright liquidation, paved the way for maximum recovery to unsecured creditors.
