Meruelo Maddux Properties

Representation of Legendary Investors in proposing a secured creditor plan in the heavily contested chapter 11 bankruptcy in the Central District of California of Meruelo Maddux and affiliates, at one time the largest private landowner in downtown Los Angeles. Legendary Investors, which was the largest secured creditor of the debtors, obtained a very favorable settlement of its claims prior to commencement of the confirmation proceedings (which involved two other plans).
