Representation of the creditors’ committee in the chapter 11 case of Neff Corp. in the Southern District of New York. The debtor, the thirteenth largest equipment rental company in the U.S. as measured by equipment rental revenues, had approximately $600 million of debt that included several tranches of debt. The firm challenged the bank-supported plan of reorganization and successfully obtained a significantly higher payout to unsecured creditors.
