Noble House Home Furnishings
Representation of Noble House Home Furnishings and certain of its affiliates in their chapter 11 cases in the Southern District of Texas, Houston Division. Noble House and its affiliates operated as a distributor, manufacturer, and retailer of indoor and outdoor home furnishings with distribution through e-commerce channels as well as to fulfill consumer orders from its distribution centers. Noble House filed for chapter 11 in September 2023 in response to financial and operational stresses following the COVID-19 pandemic. The debtor used its chapter 11 filing to effectuate a comprehensive sale and marketing process in connection with the going-concern sale of substantially all its assets. Through the firm’s efforts, the court approved bidding procedures and the designation of a stalking-horse bidder (with bid protections) in the second week of the case, and subsequently approved a value-maximizing sale approximately six weeks later.
