Open Road Films

Representation of the creditors’ committee in the Open Road Films chapter 11 cases in the District of Delaware. Founded in 2011, Open Road licenses motion pictures in the U.S., mostly to home entertainment, pay television, subscription, video-on-demand, and other nontheatrical distribution markets. Open Road reached an agreement with its proposed buyer and a group of film producers over contract assumption issues to gain approval for its $85 million chapter 11 asset sale.
