This site has been created to provide unsecured creditors with information about the pending chapter 11 bankruptcy cases of the Weinstein Company chapter 11 cases
On March 19, 2018, Weinstein Company Holdings LLC and multiple affiliates commenced chapter 11 cases in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware ("Bankruptcy Court"). Mary F. Walrath is the presiding judge. On March 20, 2018, the Bankruptcy Court ordered that the cases be administratively consolidated under case number 18-10601 (hereinafter the consolidated debtors will be referred to collectively as "Weinstein cases"). Committee Appointment
On March 28, 2018, the United States Trustee appointed the following to a committee of unsecured creditors: Louisette Geiss, Sandeep Rehal, Access Digital Cinema Phase 2 Corp., Light Chaser Animation and William Morris Endeavor Entertainment (the "Committee"). The Committee has selected Pachulski Stang Ziehl & Jones LLP ("PSZJ") as Committee counsel; Bankruptcy Court approval is pending. James Stang, Debra Grassgreen, Robert Feinstein and Bradford Sandler are the principal attorneys at PSZJ responsible for this engagement.
