Ditech Holding Corporation

This site has been created to provide unsecured creditors with information about the pending chapter 11 bankruptcy cases of Ditech Holding Corporation and its affiliates

On February 11, 2019, Ditech Holding Corporation, along with multiple affiliates, commenced chapter 11 cases in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York ("Bankruptcy Court"). Judge James L. Garrity is the presiding judge. On February 13, 2019, the Bankruptcy Court ordered that the cases be administratively consolidated under case number 19-10412. 

Committee Appointment 

On February 27, 2019, the United States Trustee appointed a committee of unsecured creditors in the Ditech cases ("Committee"). On April 22, the composition of  the Committee was amended. Current members are Safeguard Properties Management, Wilmington Savings Fund Society, Lee Kamimura, ISGN Solutions, Black Knight Financial Technology Solutions, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Deutsche Bank National Trust Company as RMBS trustee, Stephen Kulzyck, and Jose Martinez. The Committee has selected Pachulski Stang Ziehl & Jones LLP ("PSZJ") as counsel; Bankruptcy Court approval of the employment is pending. Robert Feinstein and Brad Sandler are the principal attorneys at PSZJ responsible for this engagement.
