On January 10, 2017, Judge Christopher M. Klein of the Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of California confirmed a consensual plan in the Diocese of Stockton chapter 11 bankruptcy case. Under the approved plan, abuse survivors will receive $15 million and a trust for the benefit of the survivors. The PSZJ team contributing to this successful result included James Stang, Rob Orgel, Iain Nasatir and Jonathan Kim.
