Leading Bankruptcy Practitioner Scott Hazan Joins Pachulski Stang Ziehl & Jones, Bolsters Preeminent Creditors’ Committee Practice

We are proud to announce that prominent bankruptcy practitioner, Scott Hazan is joining our New York office, effective immediately. Hazan has represented creditors’ committees in the chapter 11 cases of Macy’s, Kmart, Northwest Airlines, US Airways and more recently Quizno’s, Reader’s Digest, Sbarro, Rotech Healthcare, Natrol, Terrestar Networks and Buffets Restaurants, among many others. For decades, he was the Chair of Otterbourg’s Restructuring and Bankruptcy Practice, and has decided to bring his expertise and reputation to PSZJ.

Hazan is deeply entrenched in several industries, including food and drug, apparel, and retail, and plans on helping the firm procure more engagements, particularly as industries such as retail continue to suffer.
