Limited Liability Company Debtor Cases

Peter Keane will be speaking on a panel at the American Bankruptcy Institute’s annual Central States Bankruptcy Workshop on Thursday, June 19, 2025 from 1:45 to 3:00 pm CT. The panel, titled “Limited Liability Company Debtor Cases,” will delve into problematic LLC issues in the context of a chapter 11 case, including LLC authority and blocking member provisions, fiduciary duty waivers, derivative standing, and the tax impact of LLC transactions on members. The three-day conference will take place from June 18 to 20, 2025 at the Ritz-Carlton in Chicago, Illinois.
