PSZJ Bankruptcy Practice Recognized as Law360 2021 Practice Group of the Year

January 18, 2022

The firm is pleased to announce it was once again named among Law360’s “Practice Groups of the Year” in the Bankruptcy category. PSZJ was one of only five firms to be recognized in this practice area. The annual awards honor the law firms behind the litigation wins and major deals that resonated throughout the legal industry in the past year.

In its profile of the firm, Law360 writes that PSZJ, "manages to make an outsize impact on the national bankruptcy landscape by deploying an experienced team of attorneys in some of the busiest bankruptcy venues in the country." It goes on to cover the firm's involvement in some of the country's most complex, high-stakes bankruptcy cases, including PSZJ's representation of Arnold & Itkin claimants in the chapter 11 case of Imerys Talc America, the unsecured creditors' committee in the case of The Weinstein Co., and the equity committee in the case of retailer Tuesday Morning.

"We're just a very different business model in terms of how we attract our lawyers and how we employ them, but it's worked for us," Rob Feinstein, managing partner of PSZJ's New York office, told Law360. "We're going toe-to-toe against these giants."
