In the cover story in the October 2007 issue of the California Lawyer magazine, author Ron Donoho interviews James Stang at length about PSZJ’s involvement in the chapter 11 case of the Catholic Diocese of San Diego.  As lead counsel to the creditors’ committee in the case, Mr. Stang was instrumental in negotiating a global settlement in the case that, at almost $200 million, is more than double the diocese’s final offer.
