PSZJ Secures First-Ever RVO Recognition in Chapter 15 Case in the Southern District of New York

The firm is pleased to announce that PSZJ’s representation of the foreign representative in the chapter 15 bankruptcy of Iovate Health Sciences International, Inc. has led to a landmark result in the Southern District of New York. For the first time, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York has recognized and enforced a reverse vesting order (RVO) in a chapter 15 proceeding. In a memorandum opinion issued on May 12, 2026, Judge Martin Glenn granted the Foreign Representative’s motion recognizing and enforcing the RVO issued by the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, approving the transfer of the debtors’ excluded property, and granting related relief in the chapter 15 cases of Iovate Health Sciences International Inc. PSZJ represents the foreign representative in the chapter 15 proceedings, with Steve Golden and Mary Caloway leading the engagement.
