Aeropostale

Representation of the creditors' committee in the chapter 11 case of Aeropostale and its affiliates in the Southern District of New York. Clothing retailer Aeropostale operates more than 800 stores in the U.S. and Canada and through various licensing agreements in Latin America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. With substantial input from the committee, the debtors’ business was sold as a going concern to a consortium of landlords, liquidators, and an intellectual property firm that resulted in over 500 stores remaining open.
