Securities Law for Bankruptcy Dummies

Max Litvak will take part in a panel discussion on securities law issues bankruptcy attorneys may encounter when confirming a plan of reorganization. The discussion will cover the application of fundamental securities rules and policies under the Bankruptcy Code as well as to address the Bankruptcy Code section 1145 registration “safe harbor,” the charter requirements under section 1123, the process and requirements for prepackaged plans, the applicability of corporate governance requirements in bankruptcy, and continued public reporting obligations.
