Strategic Decisions in Assignments for the Benefit of Creditors

Robert Saunders will take part in a panel discussion hosted by the Financial Lawyers Conference on September 29th on assignments for the benefit of creditors (ABCs), a state law alternative to federal bankruptcy. ABCs laws are not uniform throughout the states, which may provide for strategic opportunities by a choice of venue or options within the chosen state’s laws. Mr. Saunders and his fellow panelists will discuss ABCs in general as well as available strategies and tactics.
