The ABC's of "PONZI" Schemes

This program, sponsored by the LA County Bar Association, will cover what is and what is not a “Ponzi” scheme; potential criminal law elements and issues (i.e., who are the targets, what is the exposure, what role others play); bankruptcy and civil litigation issues; and what one caught in the maze can expect to occur (i.e., an ordinary sequence of events and a time line). Jason Pomerantz Stang will speak from the perspective of a civil litigator and as a bankruptcy practitioner with experience in bankruptcy cases arising out of Ponzi schemes.
