The Proposed Uniform or Model Assignment for the Benefit of Creditors Act: Navigating the ABCs of an ABC

Robert Saunders will participate in a Uniform Law Commission panel as part of the American Bar Association’s (ABA) Business Law Section Conference Spring Meeting, which will be held from April 24 – 26, 2025. The panel, titled “The Proposed Uniform or Model Assignment for the Benefit of Creditors Act: Navigating the ABCs of an ABC,” will take place from 10:00 to 11:30 am CT on April 25, 2025. Rob, who represents the Turnaround Management Association (TMA) on the ULC ABC Uniform Act drafting committee, and his fellow speakers will discuss their roles on the committee, which proposes a standardized state law on assignments for the benefit of creditors.
