The Role of Court Officers in Insolvency Proceedings

Shirley Cho will participate in a panel discussion of the role of the court officer (trustee, receiver, administrator, liquidator, monitor, etc.) in an insolvency proceeding at this annual conference in Seoul. In Korea, the DIP Proceeding, modeled after US-style chapter 11 proceedings, is relatively new. The panel will review the role of the court officer in different types of proceedings, and compare the similarities and differences in other jurisdictions, including the US and Canada.
