Third-party releases under scrutiny: evolving standards across the Americas

Debra Grassgreen will be a moderating a panel at the upcoming Global Restructuring Review (GRR) Live: Restructuring in the Americas conference taking place at the Gibson Dunn offices in New York City. This internationally renowned event brings together senior practitioners, bankers and investors in the region. Debra will moderate a program titled “Third-party releases under scrutiny: evolving standards across the Americas,” which addresses the increasing legal and regulatory scrutiny third-party releases face. The session explores how courts and stakeholders are responding to their use in restructuring plans, with a focus on recent U.S. cases and their influence on cross-border proceedings. The panel will take place from 1:00 p.m. to 1:50 p.m. ET on October 16, 2025.
