John Lucas will moderate three debates at the annual ABI Southwest Bankruptcy Conference: (1) a judicial debate on whether a debtor must obtain a judgment before it may attempt to disallow a claim under section 502(d), (2) a business bankruptcy debate on whether curing and reinstating a credit agreement under section 1124 (2) requires payment of default interest, and (3) a consumer debate on whether flat fees earned upon receipt may be recovered by a chapter 7 trustee upon rejection of the fee agreement.
