Representation of the creditors’ committee in the chapter 11 cases of Pine Gate Renewables and certain subsidiaries pending in the Southern District of Texas. The debtors, comprised of 119 entities, were a developer and owner-operator of utility-scale solar power facilities throughout the United States, with more $1.4 billion of corporate-level funded debt, in addition to more than $2 billion of funded debt primarily for nondebtor project companies.Through the firm’s efforts and assistance, the committee successfully reached a global settlement with the debtors and certain lenders that facilitated the debtors’ value-maximizing sale of their assets and culminated in confirmation of the chapter 11 liquidating plan that will result in unsecured creditors receiving cash and proceeds from certain causes of action.
