Art Van Furniture

Representation of chapter 7 trustee of Art Van Furniture and its affiliates in the District of Delaware. Serves as counsel to the chapter 7 trustee, and previously as counsel to the creditors’ committee, of regional furniture retailer Art Van, whose chapter 11 cases were converted to chapter 7 in the face of hundreds of millions of dollars of liabilities and tens of thousands of creditors. PSZJ advises the chapter 7 trustee, who continued to operate Art Van in chapter 7 for a period of time and successfully sold the inventory and assets of 27 stores in May 2020.
