Representation of the creditors’ committee in the chapter 11 cases of Axip Energy Services and its debtor affiliates in the Southern District of Texas. Operating a network of seven facilities across Texas, New Mexico, and North Dakoka, the company was a leading provider of natural-gas compression services to upstream and midstream customers in major natural-gas producing basins in the U.S. and offshore in the Gulf of Mexico, with a primary focus on the Permian Basin. With the firm’s assistance, the creditors’ committee negotiated a global settlement with the debtors and ABL lenders, which the debtors will seek to implement through a proposed liquidating plan subject to court approval.
