Representation of the creditors’ committee in the chapter 11 cases of CarePoint Health Systems and its affiliates in the District of Delaware. The companies, which have nearly 3,000 employees, manage three hospitals and related neighborhood health centers in Hudson County, New Jersey. Certain of the facilities are “safety net” hospitals serving underprivileged communities. The firm is assisting the committee to navigate the debtors’ efforts to restructure their debts, resolve significant claims against insurance carriers, and shed unfavorable contracts and leases.
