Representation of the creditors’ committee and the plan administrator in the chapter 11 cases of CareMax, Inc. and its 53 debtor affiliates in the Northern District of Texas. The debtors were a value-based care delivery system that used a proprietary technology-enabled platform and multi-specialty, whole person health model. The firm advised the committee on the debtors’ asset sales and other case matters, and with the firm’s assistance, the committee reached a settlement with the debtors, resulting in a plan (confirmed in February 2025) establishing a cash fund and providing other consideration for unsecured creditors.
