Chinos Holdings (J.Crew)

Representation of the creditors’ committee in the chapter 11 case of Chinos Holdings in the Eastern District of Virginia. which operates the J.Crew and Madewell brands. At the time of the filing, the debtors operated approximately 500 stores throughout the United States, the United Kingdom, and Canada. On behalf of the committee, the firm negotiated a recovery that doubled starting plan recoveries with a waiver of preference claims and significant payment to critical and foreign vendors and payment of all 503(b)(9) and stub-rent claims. The case was a successful reorganization of over $2.0 billion of funded indebtedness.
