FedNat Holding Company

The Firm served as counsel to the creditors’ committee in the chapter 11 cases of FedNat Holding Co. and its debtor affiliates that together provided agency, underwriting and policyholder services to their insurance carrier clients in Florida and other states with respect to homeowners, flood and other lines of insurance.  The creditors’ committee, with the Firm’s counsel, successfully reached a consensual resolution with the debtors, and the committee and the debtors jointly proposed and obtained approval by the Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida of the chapter 11 liquidating plan that would provide meaningful recoveries for unsecured creditors.
