Focal Communications

Representation of Focal Communications in its chapter 11 case in the District of Delaware. The firm successfully confirmed a plan of reorganization for the debtor, a CLEC offering voice and data services in 23 markets with almost 700,000 lines installed and in service. The plan featured a restructuring of bank claims in the approximate amount of $78 million, bond claims in the approximate amount of $110 million, and general unsecured claims of approximately $286 million.
