Representation of the ad hoc group of first-lien lenders in the chapter 11 cases of Global Eagle Entertainment in the District of Delaware. Prefiling, the debtors were a leading worldwide provider of entertainment, connectivity, and data analytics—licensing and managing media/entertainment content for customers in the airline, maritime, and other nontheatrical markets, and providing satellite-based Internet and connectivity solutions to airlines, cruise ships, and other markets. With the firm’s assistance, the lender group navigated through a restructuring support agreement with the debtors, culminating in a confirmed plan under which the first-lien lenders purchased substantially all of the company’s assets.
