Representation of an ad hoc group of unsecured creditors in the chapter 11 cases of Harvest Sherwood Food Distributors and twelve debtor affiliates in the Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas. The debtors—the largest independent wholesale food distributor in the U.S. with $4 billion in annual revenue—filed their bankruptcy cases to complete a winddown process commenced prepetition, with the support of the ad hoc group and the debtors’ ABL lenders. The firm continues to advise the ad hoc group during the chapter 11 cases, including the evaluation of strategic options and negotiations with the debtors and lenders, in order to maximize the value of the estates’ assets including the pursuit of valuable litigation claims.
