Representation of Arnold & Itkin, which represents ovarian cancer personal-injury claimants, as bankruptcy counsel in the chapter 11 case of Imerys Talc America in the District of Delaware. The manufacturer filed for bankruptcy protection in February 2019 in the face of many thousands of lawsuits alleging its products caused asbestos-related ovarian cancer and mesothelioma. The firm was successful in challenging confirmation of the Imerys plan and defeated confirmation.
