Representation of the creditors’ committee in the 2024 chapter 11 cases of Party City Holdco and its debtor subsidiaries in the Southern District of Texas. The debtors were a global leader in the party goods and celebrations industry, operating more than 690 stores and generating $1.8 billion in annual operating revenue. The firm was successful in reaching the terms of a consensual liquidating plan with the debtors and lenders, under which a liquidating trust, with cash and estate causes of action, was established for the benefit of unsecured creditors and confirmed by the bankruptcy court in August 2025.
