The firm was counsel to the creditors’ committee for the Archdiocese of Santa Fe, one of the oldest dioceses in the United States. As of the claims deadline, over 380 men and women had asserted sexual abuse claims against the Archdiocese. The chapter 11 case involved the Archdiocese, its parishes, and at least two religious orders, one of which had primary responsibility for treating and counseling abusing priests in the United States.
